Quality Assurance
UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office is responsible for ensuring the academic excellence of the University through implementing the UP Academic Assessment and Development System (AADS).
The Office takes the lead in envisioning to be at the forefront of quality assurance in education by implementing an innovative and sustainable quality management system by 2030. The goal is to provide the University and its stakeholders with a formal quality assurance system that meets local, national, regional, and global standards.

Throughout April and May 2025, the UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office led a series of workshops, forums, and dialogues for staff, project leaders, and students with the objective of empowering the UP community to strengthen QA practices across academic and administrative processes.

UPD gathers stakeholders, discusses SDG contribution
The symposium brought together UP administrators, QA officers, and support staff to reflect on the University’s contributions to the SDGs and explore ways to further align academic and research efforts with the UN 2030 Agenda.

UPD QAO embodies Pagpapatuloy for QA Month 2025
The UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) marked the institutionalization of the UP Quality Policy last April with a month-long celebration themed Pagpapatuloy, emphasizing the University’s sustained dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.

QAO Mission
The Quality Assurance Office shall:
ANCHOR academic and administrative excellence standards of performance on global quality assurance practices.
MONITOR AND EVALUATE academic programs and administrative support services in pursuit of continuous improvement.
PROMOTE quality assurance programs through capacity building initiatives and external engagements.
IMPLEMENT quality assurance policies, systems and procedures towards operational efficiency and effectiveness.
