UP Diliman Offices Gather for INSPIRE-UPD
For its third installment, the Institutional Strategic Program for Innovation, Research, and Education (INSPIRE) by the UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) returns to UPD after a successful rollout in UP Manila as the leadership team gathered to know more about the UP System’s direction and gain insights on how they will align their respective units’ strategies to the new strategic plan.
UPD QAO’s Kaisahan Webinar Tackles Continuous Quality Improvement
The UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) organized the “Kaisahan: Webinar on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Mechanisms” last August 10, 2023 as part of its third anniversary activities. This webinar is attended by Deans, Department Heads, College and Department Quality Assurance Officers, and staff who are involved in quality assurance (QA) work who were able to deepen their appreciation of the QA tools, structures, and systems that are currently present in the University.
QAO Leads Celebration of Quality Assurance with UPD Units
The UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) held the “Kahusayan: Seremonya ng Pagkilala sa Kagalingan sa QA.” last August 10, 2023 in the Auditorium of the College of Science Administration Building to formally recognize units who have made significant steps in institutionalizing quality assurance and to close its third anniversary celebration which consisted of exhibits around the campus and webinars that featured discussions on relevant QA topics.

UPD QAO Benchmarks for the Philippine Quality Award with Pangasinan State University
The UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO) organized a two-day benchmarking activity with Pangasinan State University (PSU) in Lingayen, Pangasinan last July 19-20, 2023 as part of its efforts to initiate the preparations of the University of the Philippines Diliman for institutional assessment through the Philippine Quality Award (PQA).

Officials and program representatives from the Naresuan University in Thailand visited the University of the Philippines Diliman on May 5, 2023 to learn about the accreditation process through the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

UP Diliman’s BS Social Work Program Completes EQA Assessment
The Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW) program of the College of Social Work and Community Development (CSWCD) underwent external review on October 4-7, 2022 by two AUN-QA trained assessors: Dr. Ma. Amihan Bonifacio-Ramolete, former Dean of the College of Arts and Letters, and Dr. Aleli B. Bawagan, former Vice-Chancellor for Community Affairs, as part of the Department of Social Work’s external quality assurance (EQA) activities.
ASEAN University Network- Quality Assurance Concludes Assessment of UP Diliman’s BS Statistics Program
The Bachelor of Science in Statistics program of the School of Statistics underwent the 291st Online/Remote Site Visit in the ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Program Assessment last August 29 to September 2, 2022, with the support of the UPD Quality Assurance Office (UPD QAO). The assessment is for the renewal of the program’s AUN-QA certification which was issued in 2014.
